Charms - Koristeita

I've just added lovely metal charms at our site! These can be attached to a stitched work or other art work. I think they are great in Christmas ornaments or gifts for friends! Charms are sold in packs of ten and one pack costs 1.50 euros.

Lisäsin juuri äsken sivuillemme kivoja metallisia koristeita! Näitä voi kiinnittää ristipistotöihin tai muihin käsitöihin. Olen käyttänyt tällaisia joulukoristeissa tai muissa lahjoissa ystäville. Koristeet myydään kymmenen kappaleen pakkauksissa ja yksi pakkaus maksaa 1,50 euroa.

Eiffel Quaker

I really had to start stitching this Eiffel Quaker immediately :) I think it's so beautiful and I knew exactly what thread colour to use. This is Pomme de Pin Après la Pluie (After the rain) and I think it's perfect. The fabric is 30 count light blue linen.

The original design is charted for DMC colours, numbers are 317, 318 and 3799. They are very beautiful too!

Tämä Eiffel Quaker oli oikeasti pakko aloittaa heti :) Tosi kaunis malli ja tiesin heti mitä lankaa haluan tähän käyttää. Väri on Pomme de Pinin Après la Pluie (Sateen jälkeen) ja se on mielestäni täydellinen. Kangas on 30 count vaaleansininen pellava.

Alkuperäinen malli on värikoodattu DMC:n langoille, numeroille 317, 318 ja 3799. Kauniita sävyjä myöskin nämä!

Here's a sampling of the new products I've added to our site. I just love the new Tralala cat chart, of course :) The buttons in the linen shoulder bag look and feel great, I'm thinking of stitching something with couple of shades of chocolate colours on this... Red also looks always wonderful on linen!

Have a happy weekend! Here it's quite cold today (-17C, i.e. 1F), but unfortunately (?) we had couple of warmer days, so the trees don't look anymore like in the photo below. I took it last week. We had such a winter wonderland for some weeks!

Tässäpä muutamia uusia tuotteita, joita olen lisännyt kaupan sivuille. Tuo Tralalan kissamalli on aivan ihana :) Olkalaukun napit näyttävät ja tuntuvat tosi kauniilta, tuohon olisi mukava pistellä jotain vaikkapa suklaanruskeilla sävyillä... Punainenkin näyttää pellavalla aina ihanalta.

Ihanaa viikonloppua! Täällä on tänään aika kylmä, -17C näyttää mittari. Valitettavasti (?) välissä oli muutama lämpimämpi päivä, eivätkä puut enää näytä samalta kuin alakuvassa, jonka otin viime viikolla. Olipa kauniin näköistä pitkän aikaa!

Happy New Year! We've received new designs by Patou et des poussières, they are adorable! Also organza bows can now be bought at Violarium, these can be used to decorate pinkeeps, boxes and other stitching finishes.

If you order organza bows this week and mention Violarium's blog or my personal stitching blog in the comments of your order, I'll include a small extra package into your order. It contains couple of meters organza ribbon, a matching DMC thread skein and couple of tiny cotton fabric pieces for finishing pinkeeps.

Hyvää uutta vuotta! Saimme uusia Patou et des poussières -ihanuuksia näin vuoden alkajaisiksi. Myös kysyttyjä organzarusetteja löytyy nyt kaupan sivuilta! Näitä on mukava käyttää koristeeksi erilaisissa pienissä ristipistotöissä, kuten laatikon päällystämisessä tai neulavahdeissa.

Jos tilaat organzarusetteja tällä viikolla ja kerrot tilauksen kommenteissa lukeneesi tästä Violariumin blogista tai Lennun tekeleistä, niin lisään pienen ylimääräisen lahjan tilaukseesi. Wonderful Christmas! - Ihanaa joulua!

We want to thank our customers for this year and wish you a Wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year 2010!

We are on Christmas vacation from December 23rd to January 6th. Orders can be placed normally at our site and they will be processed again after the vacation, from Thursday 7th.

It's December, yippee! I've added these new, cute designs at our site. Maybe they bring some Christmas spirit to you. In Finland the weather is definitely not Christmassy, we don't have snow at all and it's raining... But candles and lights and Christmas carols brighten up these days, it's the best time of the year!

On joulukuu, jipii! Lisäsin nämä uudet, söpöt mallit kaupan sivuille. Ehkä ne tuovat vähän jouluiloa tähän mustaan säähän. Täällä Oulun korkeudella ei ole tippaakaan lunta ja koko viime yön satoi kovasti vettä.... Mutta onneksi kynttilät ja jouluvalot ja joululaulut tuovat joulutunnelmaa tähän vuoden parhaaseen aikaan!

I bought these lovely frames from Couleur d'Etoile to be sold at craft fairs this autumn and I've sold many! I absolutely love these, they are all individuals and come with these two Christmassy charts. The text "Joyeux Noël" means "Merry Christmas". The frame is 33 cm (13") high.

Ostin näitä ihania kuusikehyksiä syksyn messuilla myytäväksi ja paljon niitä onkin myyty, sekä Oulussa että Tampereella! Tykkään näistä kovasti, jokainen kehys on oma yksilönsä ja kehyksen mukana on myös kuvassa näkyvät mallit. Teksti "Joyeux Noël" tarkoittaa "Hyvää joulua". Kehys on 33 cm korkea.

Tampere craft fair - Suomen kädentaidot

We will be at Tampere craft fair from 13th to 15th November. The orders will be processed normally until Wednesday 12th November - and then again on Monday and Tuesday when I'm back.

Torstaiaamuna lähdemme Tampereelle Suomen Kädentaidot -messuille. Messut pidetään perjantaista sunnuntaihin, 13-15. päivä. Tilauksia postitetaan normaalisti vielä keskiviikkona, mutta keskiviikon jälkeen tehdyt tilaukset käsitellään maanantaina ja tiistaina messujen jälkeen.

Le Temps nous égare on "kehyksissä". Halusin tehdä tämän jotenkin eri tavalla, niinpa hain muutamia risuja, katkoin sopivan mittaisiksi ja sidoin ne nurkista yhteen. Lopputulos on yksinkertainen, mutta tykkään ideasta, koska se sopii yhteen lintuaiheen kanssa :)
