JCS Christmas Ornaments 2010

Leena M. e-mailed me a photo of this cute ornament she has already stitched from JCS Ornaments 2010 issue. She wrote me that she fell in love with this at first glance :) It's beautiful, isn't it! I just love the finishing, great job Leena!

I finished my first ornament from this issue yesterday, you can see it in my personal blog.

I have some copies of the previous ornament issues in stock as well, below the covers and links. The 2003 and older issues are sold out and can't be ordered anymore from the publisher.

Leena M. lähetti kuvan sähköpostilla kauniista koristeesta, jonka hän on jo ehtinyt pistellä uudesta JCS joulukoristelehdestä. Kaima kirjoitti, että ihastui tuohon malliin ensi silmäyksellä :) Tosi nätisti viimeistelty koriste, kiitos Leena kun lähetit kuvan!

Sain itsekin eilen valmiiksi ensimmäisen koristeen tuosta numerosta, kuva siitä löytyy omasta blogistani - Lennun tekeleistä.

Aikaisempien vuosien joululehtiä on nyt vielä jonkun verran varastossa, kuvat ja linkit ovat tämän tekstin alapuolella. Vuoden 2003 lehdet ja sitä vanhemmat on myyty loppuun kustantajan varastosta, eikä niitä enää saa tilattua lisää.

Ihanaa viikonloppua ja toivottavasti oikein paljon ihania pistoja myös!

Kirsten e-mailed me these photos of her beautiful finish. It's Histoire de Lettres by Tournicoton. Above you can see it framed and below before framing. I think you can better see all the lovely, tiny motifs in this photo, especially if you click it bigger. In Tournicoton charts there are often many lovely details!

It's a bit grey Monday here in Finland, but I saw some hints of sunshine couple of hours ago :) Have a wonderful new week everyone!

Kirsten lähetti nämä kuvat kauniista taulustaan. Malli on Tournicotonin Histoire de Lettres. Yläpuolella kuva kehystetystä taulusta ja alapuolella kuva ennen kehystystä. Siitä näkyy ehkä paremmin kaikki söpöt, pienet kuviot kirjainten välissä, varsinkin jos kuvan klikkaa isommaksi. Tournicotonin malleissa on usein paljon pieniä yksityiskohtia, osan huomaa vasta kun työtä pistelee.

Upeasti pistelty upea malli ja kehys sopii valmiiseen työhön todella hyvin. Kiitokset Kirstenille näistä kuvista!

Täällä Kellossa on harmaa maanantai tällä hetkellä, mutta aurinkokin pilkahteli aiemmin päivällä. Ihanaa uutta viikkoa kaikille!

Outi sent me a photo of this creative bag! She has knit the bag from scrap yarn and then she stitched this freebie with matching colours to decorate the bag. The model of the house bag is Kaffe Fassett's (modified, writes Outi). Isn't that a clever idea and a great result?!
