Kirsten e-mailed me these photos of her beautiful finish. It's Histoire de Lettres by Tournicoton. Above you can see it framed and below before framing. I think you can better see all the lovely, tiny motifs in this photo, especially if you click it bigger. In Tournicoton charts there are often many lovely details!

Kirsten lähetti nämä kuvat kauniista taulustaan. Malli on Tournicotonin Histoire de Lettres. Yläpuolella kuva kehystetystä taulusta ja alapuolella kuva ennen kehystystä. Siitä näkyy ehkä paremmin kaikki söpöt, pienet kuviot kirjainten välissä, varsinkin jos kuvan klikkaa isommaksi. Tournicotonin malleissa on usein paljon pieniä yksityiskohtia, osan huomaa vasta kun työtä pistelee.

Upeasti pistelty upea malli ja kehys sopii valmiiseen työhön todella hyvin. Kiitokset Kirstenille näistä kuvista!

Nämä kauniit mallit saapuivat Tournicotonilta! Ilmiselvästi tietysti tykkään eniten tuosta ensimmäisestä kissamallista, mutta toisetkin ovat niin tournicotonimaisen ihania :)

I stitched this bright ornament during the weekend. It's the new freebie by Tournicoton and we will include it automatically in every order from now on. I left out the border, changed some colours and added the ribbon to decorate. It's finished with the green cotton fabric on the back, you'll find finishing instructions for this kind of finish at Violarium's site.

I will include a tiny piece of Floba with the free chart this week only, so you can stitch the design over one fabric thread, like in the photo above. The chart and fabric will be added automatically, also in orders placed during the weekend and mailed today.

Pistelin viikonloppuna tämän keväisen koristeen, malli on uusin ilmaismallimme ja sen on suunnitellut Tournicotonin Anne R. Malli lähetetään kaikkien tilausten mukana tästä eteenpäin. Jätin pois reunuksen, vaihdoin pari lankaa ja lisäsin vihreän nauhan koristeeksi. Taustapuolella on koristeen alla näkyvää vihreää puuvillakangasta, ohje tällaiseen viimeistelyyn löytyy Violariumin sivuilta.

Lisään tällä viikolla tilauksiin ilmaismallin lisäksi myös pienen palan Floba-kangasta, jolle koristeen voi pistellä yhden kankaan langan yli, kuten kuvassa. Malli ja kangas lisätään tilauksiin automaattisesti, myös viikonlopun aikana tehtyihin tilauksiin, jotka postitetaan tänään.

Today a package from Tournicoton arrived, all the designs are now back in stock and we received the two newest designs too. These are both so pretty!

Secret par Nature is a lovely needle book / scissor case combination. It's stitched with cross stitches and special stitches, as Tournicoton's designs usually are. Mon Nounours is such a cute teddy bear design, with a lovely teddy bear charm.

Tournicotonin paketti saapui tänään, kaikkia malleja on taas varastossa ja saimme kaksi uusinta mallia valikoimaamme. Molemmat ovat niin kauniita!

Secret par Nature on neulavihko jossa on myös paikka saksille. Se tehdään sekä ristipistoilla että erikoispistoilla, kuten Tournicotonin mallit yleensäkin. Mon Nounours on hurjan söpö nallemalli, jossa on mukana työhön kiinnitettävä nallekoriste.

Amusements Champêtres

This lovely, new design arrived today from Tournicoton! I think it's such a cute model, with nine small charts that may be finished separately too - as pincushions, ornaments etc... The model has been finished as a beautiful small bag, the idea is great! The linen is "normal" linen for cross stitching and the seams are sewn first and the designs stitched after that on squares. The chart includes sewing and finishing instructions of course.

Have a very happy weekend! I hope your weather will be better than ours, it's been quite warm (+2C / 36F) but so grey this week! Hopefully we'll see the sun soon again :) In the meantime I'll be staring at this summery chart and stitching something bright :)

Tämä Tournicotonin kaunis, uusin malli saapui tänään! Tosi kiva idea tässä mallissa, se koostuu yhdeksästä pienestä malliruudusta, jotka voi vaikka pistellä erikseen ja viimeistellä koristeiksi, neulatyynyiksi ja niin edelleen... Alkuperäinen kassi-idea on minusta hieno myös, se on tehty "normaalista" ristipistopellavasta, johon on ensin ommeltu saumat ja sen jälkeen malli on pistelty ruutuihin. Mallin mukana on tietysti myös ompeluohjeet.

Ihanaa viikonloppua jokaiselle! Toivottavasti sää tästä paranee, meillä ainakin on ollut melko lämmintä (+2C tällä hetkellä), mutta niin, niin harmaata tällä viikolla! Jospa aurinko taas pian näyttäytyisi :) Sitä odotellessa tuijotan tuota kesäistä mallia ja pistelen jotain pirteää :)

SANQ + Pére Noël Charmant

Two lovely products arrived today! The Winter issue of SANQ, with for example a lovely article about figural tape measures (this is the part II, the first part was published in the Autumn issue). I so much enjoy reading this magazine, there are always wonderful articles and gorgeous designs to stitch.

Tournicoton's new Christmas design is so cute! The name - Père Noël Charmant - means "Charming Santa Claus". I think this Santa is so cute, leading the reindeer :) There are lots of special stitches in this design, like in all Tournicoton designs.

Pari mukavaa uutta tuotetta saapui tänään! SANQ-lehden talvinumerossa on mm. mielenkiintoinen artikkeli vanhoista mittanauhoista (tämä on artikkelin toinen osa, ensimmäinen julkaistiin syksynumerossa). Tässä lehdessä on aina niin paljon ihanaa luettavaa ja kauniita, vanhoja malleja pisteltäväksi.

Tournicoton uusi joulumalli on tosi söpö! Nimi "Père Noël Charmant" on suomeksi "Hurmaava joulupukki". Tästä tuli kertaheitolla ykkössuosikkini joulupukkimalleista, lennokkain askelin hän taluttaa poroa :) Tässäkin Tournicotonin mallissa on paljon kauniita erikoispistoja.

Tournicoton: Allons compter violettes + Ballade aux fraises

I've added the two new Tournicoton designs at Violarium's site - Ballade aux fraises and Allons compter violettes. Ballade aux fraises was first published in The Gift of Stitching magazine and now Anne of Tournicoton has published this lovely design as a chart. I think they are both so pretty, I especially love Allons compter violettes, but I think I'm partial :)

Ballade aux fraises on suunniteltu alunperin The Gift of Stitching -lehteä varten ja nyt Tournicotonin Anne on julkaissut tämän kauniin neulavahdin mallina. Tykkään molemmista kovasti, erityisesti violetista orvokkimallista, mutta taidan olla vähän puolueellinen orvokeiden suhteen :)
