New scissors and charts - Uusia saksia ja malleja
Beautiful new scissors arrived today from Bohin. The quality of these scissors is superior and I think these new colours and designs are gorgeous. In the first photo you can also see my current progress on Jardin Privé's Sampler au bouquet. I really do enjoy stitching it!
Nathalie (Jardin Privé) and Corinne (Tralala) have both designed couple of new designs. I've added these charts at our site today. Cute, aren't they?

Bohinilta saapui tänään uusia saksia. Bohinin sakset ovat laadukkaita ja nämä uudet värit ja mallit näyttävät hurjan kauniilta. Ensimmäisessä kuvassa näkyy myös missä vaiheessa Jardin Privén Sampler au bouquet on tällä hetkellä. Sitä on tosi ihana pistellä!

New products - Uusia tuotteita
It's here! Jardin Privé's Sampler au Bouquet III, I mean. So now all three charts are available, these will look wonderful together.
Also a package from Atalie and Kelmscott Designs arrived. There are couple of new thread colours from Atalie at our site now and all Kelmscott scissors (also these new ones!) are back in stock.
PS. It was a good post day and I'm sorry I don't have any photo, but our cats couldn't care less of these but they loved the biggest package - filled with cat food :)

Jardin Privén Sampler au Bouquet III on täällä! Kaikki kolme mallia ovat nyt siis saatavana, näistä tulee kyllä hieno taulu valmiina yhdessä.
Myöskin Atalielta ja Kelmscott Designsilta saapui paketit tänään. Ataliella on pari uutta lankaväriä ja kaikkia Kelmscottin saksia (myös näitä uusia) löytyy varastostamme.
PS. Tänään oli hyvä postipäivä ja harmi kun minulla ei ole kuvaa, mutta kissat viis veisasivat näistä ja tykkäsivät sen sijaan eniten isoimmasta paketista - siitä jonka sisällä oli kissanruokaa :)

Sampler au bouquet (Jardin Privé)
This is what I stitched last weekend. I'm going to stitch all three Sampler au bouquet designs into this one big piece of Vintage Country Mocha linen. A piece of 40 x 95 cm (16" x 37") is big enough for all three. I think the colour of this linen goes well together with the DMC colours in the design. It is a joy to stitch!
(Edited to add on March 10th: I made a mistake yesterday when writing this blog post and took the wrong stitch count when calculating the correct fabric size for all three designs. I've now added a piece suitable for these into Violarium's site and I discounted the price until the end of March. The normal price for this 40 x 95 cm (16" x 37") piece will be 22 euros.)
Below you'll see what always happens... I sneak to our veranda to take photos and then I hear this miaouwing behind the door. Pipari thinks taking photos is the most interesting job in the world and she absolutely wants to help! I'm not so sure though if she really helps... Well, at least she brings tons of joy!

Tätä pistelin viime viikonloppuna. Aion pistellä kaikki kolme Sampler au bouquet -mallia tälle isolle Vintage Country Mocha -pellavalle. 40 x 95 cm:n palanen on riittävän iso kolmelle mallille. Minusta tuon pellavan väri sopii tosi hyvin noihin DMC:n lankaväreihin. Tätä on ihana pistellä!
(Lisätty torstaina 10. päivä: Kirjoitin eilen tuon kankaan koon väärin tänne blogiin. Katsoin mallin koon pistoina väärästä kohtaa kun laskin kankaan kokoa. Lisäsin nyt Violariumin sivuille sopivan kokoisen kankaan ja alensin hintaa maaliskuun loppuun saakka. 40 x 95 cm:n kokoisen palan normaalihinta tulee olemaan 22 euroa.)
Alapuolella olevista kuvista näette kuinka aina käy... Livahdan kuistille ottamaan kuvia ja kohta oven takaa kuuluu surkeaa naukumista. Piparin mielestä kuvien ottaminen on maailman mielenkiintoisinta puuhaa ja kissaneiti haluaa aina olla avuksi! En kyllä ole ihan varma, että kuinka paljon Piparista oikeasti on apua... No, iloa joka tapauksessa!

Carré Bouquet (Tralala), Small Red (Jardin Privé)
Tralala and Jardin Privé charts are very popular and fortunately these two talented ladies design new charts frequently. These charts arrived today!
I have started stitching Jardin Privé's Sampler au bouquet I and II and I'll post a photo of my progress here tomorrow. These two samplers (and a third one coming soon!) can be stitched together into one big sampler, as you can see in the product descriptions at our site.

Tralalan ja Jardin Privén mallit ovat todella suosittuja ja onneksi nämä kaksi lahjakasta suunnittelijaa julkaisevat uusia malleja säännöllisesti. Nämä uutuudet saapuivat tänään!
Aloitin itse pistelemään Jardin Privén Sampler au bouquet I ja II -malleja, laitan pistelystä kuvan tänne huomenna. Nämä kaksi mallia (ja pian ilmestyvä kolmas malli!) voidaan pistellä yhdeksi isoksi tauluksi. Kaikista kolmesta yhdessä on jo nähtävänä kuva noiden mallien tuotekuvauksissa.

Back home from L'Aiguille en fête craft show! What a wonderful trip and what a wonderful show. I met so many designers and saw lovely new products. I brought something in the suitcase with me and more is already on the way, I'll add them at Violarium's site as soon as they arrive. Some can be seen above and the other new products are at our site.
As more new products will be arriving mainly during March, there's a special show offer for blog readers and newsletter subscribers this time. If you place an order by the end of February (from February 15th to 28th), you will receive a code from us after ordering. With the code you'll receive all your orders in March without shipping costs (maximum 5 orders). So you can order any number of charts or other products as they arrive, 5 orders altogether. Naturally the code is valid for all products in stock, new or older and anywhere in the world. I promise to do my best and be busy adding lots and lots of new stuff at our site :)
It has been really cold in Finland, -31C (-24F) at the moment and it seems especially cold after +18C (+65F) in Paris on Friday... So a perfect weather to stitch, happy stitching!

Kotona taas messureissun jälkeen! Matka oli ihana ja messut tosi upeat jälleen kerran. Tapasin monia suunnittelijoita ja näin paljon uusia, kivoja malleja ja tuotteita. Toin matkalaukussa joitain uutuuksia ja enemmänkin on jo tulossa, lisäilen niitä Violariumiin sitä mukaa kun saapuvat. Osa uusista tuotteista näkyy tuossa yläpuolella, loput Violariumin sivuilla.
Koska uusia tuotteita saapuu lisää pikkuhiljaa pääasiassa maaliskuun aikana, blogin lukijat ja uutiskirjeen tilaajat saavat tänä vuonna erityisen messutarjouksen.
