Happy Friday! Today I've been adding "
que des merveilles" - only beauties - like the French say, at our site :) We have received wonderful charts from
Marie Suarez and her daughter Miss Kat (listed in the same category at our site), the cutest
new spring chart from Tralala and many pretty
Mains & Merveilles magazines. Take a look at all the

We also have the
new book by Renato Parolin and the second part of the Bible by Valerie Lejeune is here too! The price of the book is 39 euros, please note that
the Finnish VAT will be reduced if your shipping address is outside European Union. The book is quite big (even though smaller than the first part) and actual postage will be added. If you're interested in purchasing this book, please e-mail me at
leena@violarium.com and I will let you know the total price. The book contains letters from 56 stitches to 102 stitches high and there's 400 wonderful pages in it.
It's hard to say what's my favourite of today's additions as I love them all. I was especially happy to add the lovely charts by Marie Suarez at our site. Her designs are special and very beautiful.
Because I love tea, the embroided tea service set in
Brodez Zen magazine is certainly one of my favourites! The set includes a cover for a flower pot, trivet for a tea pot, a pouch for tea and the cutest sugar bowl! I think this is such a clever idea, to combine stitching and origami - the japanese art of paper folding. I really, really have to stitch something like that for myself soon :)

Renato Parolinin uusi kirja saapui myös ja odotettu Valerie Lejeunen Bible-kirjan toinen osa. Bible-kirjan hinta on 39 euroa. Kirja on painava ja suuri, joskin pienempi kuin ykkösosa, niinpä todelliset postikulut lisätään hintaan. Postikulut Suomeen ovat 8,50 euroa (tavallisena postipakettina lähetettynä). Teenystävänä
Brodez Zen -lehden teesetti on myös yksi suosikeistani. Aivan ihana idea yhdistää japanilaista origami-taittelua ja pistelyä! Kannen kuvassa näkyvään teesettiin kuuluu kukkapurkinsuojus, alusta teepannulle, pussi teelle ja sokerina pohjalla sokerikulho. Tuollainen sarja on pakko pistellä itselle pian :)
Ihanaa viikonloppua! Oulun korkeudella ei vielä näy kevään merkkejä, paitsi auringonpaistetta, -15C tänä aamuna... Tosi kaunis päivä oli kyllä, kuten kuvista näkyy!
