Today I've added new products at our site from two designers - Martine Leonard of Au fil de l'ange and Gigi R.
Martine Leonard has been designing for 20 years and she finds inspiration from her own life and environment. For example the cute donkeys live literally in her back yard! Bird cage La Cage d'Eglantine is a very popular design, inspired by musical cages of 18th century. There used to be a small singing bird in these cages, that's why there's a separate bird in the design too!
Gigi R. lives in Belgium and her designs are either reproductions of old samplers in her own collection or composed from oldies in her collection. Les Belles Lettres de Gigi are gorgeous with lots of small motifs! I certainly want to stitch the letter L one day :)

Tänään olen lisännyt kaupan sivuille uusia tuotteita kahdelta suunnittelijalta - Martine Leonard of Au fil de l'ange ja Gigi R.
Martine Leonard on suunnitellut ristipistomalleja 20 vuoden ajan ja hän saa inspiraatiota omasta elämästään ja elinympäristöstään. Esimerkiksi hänen malliensa söpöt aasit asustavat kirjaimellisesti hänen takapihallaan! Lintuhäkki La Cage d'Eglantine on hyvin suosittu ja kaunis malli. Sen esikuvana on Marie Antoinetten ajan lintuhäkit, jotka olivat usein soittorasioita ja niissä oli laulava lintunen.
Gigi R. asuu Belgiassa ja hänen mallinsa ovat usein jäljennöksiä vanhoista merkkaustauluista, joita hän keräilee. Upeat kirjanmallit hän on koostanut useista pienistä vanhoista kuvioista. L-kirjaimen haluan jonain päivänä pistellä :)
